Eduardo Lobo

(acoustic, eletric and small guitars, and mandolim)

Acoustic and electric guitarist, finished his Bachelor in Arts specializing in Popular Music in 2003 and his Masterin Arts Degree with a dissertation on "Concerto Carioca No. 3 by Radames Gnattali: an analytical study," in 2011, at University of Campinas (Unicamp). As part of his academic studies, participated in the congress Music Analysis Summer School in the 2010, sponsored by the University of Durham (England), where he studied Schenkerian analysis and Neo-Riemannian Theory with Michael Spitzer, Julian Horton and William Drabkin. His interest in the repertoire and the theory of classical music began during the two years of guitar lessons with Henrique Pinto, at the Escola Msica Municipal de So Paulo. During the years 2008 and 2009 he joined the group Fina Estampa, which had its first CD "Abrideira" co-produced by Mauricio Carrilho.
